We encourage "VKL Family" and team activities. Our popular 'out-bound' programs, such as the trekking club and adventure club, inculcate a high sense of initiative, risk taking ability, as well have nurtured good leadership and inter personal skills. "Team VKL" was the first civilian team to carry out white water rafting in the Periyar River in Kerala.

Our VKL Community activities include sports competitions, family forums and a social service group. The Sports forum coordinates the running and maintenance of an employee recreation center, which an indoor gym as well as facilities for sports. The family forum organizes the VKL Annual day celebrations and corporate picnics.

The Social Service forum is committed towards contributing in a meaningful way by working with the orphanage children in developing the talent out of them, besides taking lead roles in the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society. In this effort, VKL has consciously kept itself away from religious and political organizations.
